I found a neighbor cat sitting on our backyard fence, probably watching birds.
This one is a regular visitor at our yard. Very cute.
Today, a squirrel was running on the fence toward the cat, noticed it and froze.
No confrontation is necessary, so the squirrel run down from the fence to avoid the cat.
Animal world is way more reasonable and peaceful than ours.

たぶん野鳥を狙ってるんでしょう
今日は、反対側からリスが走ってきて、猫に気がついて、ピタッと静止
しばらく固まった後、フェンスの反対側へ降りていきました
動物界は、無益な衝突もなく、平和です
